How To Create 60 Watt Light Bulbs Using Plastic Water Bottles And Bleach.

Alfredo Moser's invention is lighting up the world. In 2002, the Brazilian mechanic had a light-bulb moment and came up with a way of illuminating his house during the day without electricity - using nothing more than plastic bottles filled with water and a tiny bit of bleach.

In the last two years his innovation has spread throughout the world. It is expected to be in one million homes by early next year.

So how does it work? Simple refraction of sunlight, explains Moser, as he fills an empty two-litre plastic bottle." Add two capfuls of bleach to protect the water so it doesn't turn green [with algae]. The cleaner the bottle, the better," he adds. Wrapping his face in a cloth he makes a hole in a roof tile with a drill. Then, from the bottom upwards, he pushes the bottle into the newly-made hole." You fix the bottle in with polyester resin. Even when it rains, the roof never leaks - not one drop."

"An engineer came and measured the light," he says. "It depends on how strong the sun is but it's more or less 40 to 60 watts," he says.

What inspires one to create an affordable and alternative means of lighting? Moser stated that he came up with the idea, the ‘Moser Light’, during one of the frequent blackouts in Brazil during the year of 2002. Because only factories had power in his hometown of Uberaba during blackouts, it became a necessity to create an alternative form of lighting.

According to his BBC interview, it was his boss that suggested using a plastic bottle filled with water as a lens to focus the sun’s rays. Mr. Moser then used the concept to create his inventive light.

“It’s a divine light. God gave the sun to everyone, and light is for everyone. Whoever wants it saves money. You can’t get an electric shock from it, and it doesn’t cost a penny.” Alfredo said.

It’s clear that Alfredo is not sharing his lighting method for personal gain, but to help others. He earned a few dollars installing the lights in his local supermarket and neighbors’ houses, but his invention has not made him a wealthy man.

It is reported that over 140,000 homes in the Philippines have been fitted with water bottle lights. This is exceptional considering that a quarter of the population in this region lives in poverty. 15 other countries live in similar conditions, including Argentine, India, and Fiji.

"Alfredo Moser has changed the lives of a tremendous number of people, I think forever," he says." Whether or not he gets the Nobel Prize, we want him to know that there are a great number of people who admire what he is doing."Did Moser himself imagine that his invention would have such an impact?"I'd have never imagined it, No," says Moser, shaking with emotion."It gives you goose-bumps to think about it."

Cop Shoots And Kills College Student For Speaking To Him Sarcastically.

A police officer cannot legally point a gun at someone unless they are considered a threat.

As long as there are police officers like corporal Christopher Carter of the University of the Incarnate Word campus police, there will be cause for alarm that freedom and justice in the United States have seriously eroded.

The San Antonio campus cop was placed on paid administrative leave following the shooting of a clearly unarmed and non-combative student.

The campus policeman who shot dead a straight A student at the University of the Incarnate Word in Texas has been pictured for the first time.

Shooter: Cpl. Chris Carter, an officer with the San Antonio university's
17-strong police force, shot dead Robert Cameron Redus early
Friday following a traffic stop outside the student's apartment
What was the 23-year-old student’s crime? Robert Cameron Redus was shot dead by officer Carter at 2 a.m. for nothing more than making a sarcastic remark toward the officer who pulled him over for speeding.

According to the police report, local KSAT News explains that witnesses affirmed that the cop literally “emptied his gun” into the student without warning.

“I didn’t hear him say anything like, ‘Get down on your hands and knees,’ you know?” one witness explained, “I didn’t hear him say anything. He just started shooting. He emptied the gun on him… Boom, boom, boom.Six shots — five or six.”

Mohammad Haidarasl also witnessed the murder, saying that Redus’ last words were “Oh, you’re gonna shoot me?”

Redus couldn’t believe officer Carter would actually go that far, but Haidarasl added that the cop kept yelling “Stop resisting, stop resisting,” even though it was clear Redus was offering no physical residence, only sarcastic comments.

Carter has claimed that shortly after he stopped Redus, “a struggle ensued” between himself and the student.

According to the Express-News, people who know the officer described him as 'mean.''He was mean,' Hugo Bustillos, a former neighbor, said. Bustillos lived above Carter's apartment for about a year. He said Carter also had run-ins with at least one other tenant over his dog before he moved away last year.'He exaggerated a lot,' Bustillos said. 'He put a lot of false statements on us with our landlord,' Bustillos said. 'He also made trouble for someone else and got into an argument with' management.

Haidarasl knew Robert Redus, living right below him. He was “the nicest guy,” Haidarasl said. Other students described him as “kind, intelligent, compassionate and well-loved within the community.” In fact, no one had anything bad to say about him, except for the officer that murdered him in cold blood.

Not aggressive: Cameron Redus' friends and family can't understand how someone as gentle and kind as him could have been shot by a police officer. Image Source

“He was not an aggressive person at all, so the story doesn’t make sense,” one student who wished to remain unnamed said.

An official statement from the university seemed to support the killer cop, saying that Carter has “an extensive law-enforcement background,” working for “several years” at the school. But the San Antonio Express-News says that he’s only been working there for two-and-a-half years, a relatively short time for any police officer.

In fact, in a short period of time, Carter has come and gone from several law enforcement positions.

What can you do? SPREAD THE WORD! Let people know what kind of POLICE STATE American citizens are facing. Then contact the police department that officer Carter works for and let them know that you DEMAND that he be fired IMMEDIATELY and brought up on criminal charges. Administrative leave will simply not do!

Furthermore, contact the University itself, demand that Carter is fired! This insanity will continue as long as we passively accept it as “the way things are.”

The Illusion Of Matter: Our Physical Reality Isn’t Really Physical At All

Again, our physical material reality really ISN’T physical at all. The meaning, significance and implications of these findings within our quantum world have led to a plethora of ideas and theories, some of which lay inside the label of “pseudo-science.”  This article Niels Bohr, a Danish Physicist who made significant  contributions to understanding atomic structure and quantum theory once said: “if quantum mechanics hasn’t profoundly shocked you, you haven’t understood it yet.” Quantum physics has left scientists all over the world baffled, especially with the discovery that our physical material reality, isn’t really physical at all. “Everything we call real is made of things that cannot be regarded as real.”  It seems philosophers of our ancient past were right, our senses really do deceive us.

Again, our physical material reality really ISN’T physical at all. The meaning, significance and implications of these findings within our quantum world have led to a plethora of ideas and theories, some of which lay inside the label of “pseudo-science.” This article will present scientific evidence that clearly shows the connections between consciousness and what we call reality and how these can no longer be denied. It will also ponder the implications of this knowing, and how this realization plays an important role in the potential transformation of our planet, at a time when we need it the most.

Scientific understandings change continuously throughout human history.  Old “knowings” are constantly dismissed as we come across new ones. Even with our current understanding about the laws of physics, it could have some loopholes, especially with the recent disclosure of the black budget. We now know that trillions of dollars are going towards projects that the human race knows nothing about. Other phenomenon, like zero-point energy, extracting energy and heat from electromagnetic zero-point radiation via the Casimir force have shown to be correct and conclusive -for more information on these sources, please click here. (1)(9)(10)(11)(12)(13) Some of these ideas threaten our current understanding of physics, but how can we even have an understanding of physics when what we call ‘matter’ isn’t even real? How can we understand it if when we observe an atom at its tiniest level the behavior of that atom changes? The quantum world is definitely a weird one, and it’s safe to say that we don’t understand it, but we do recognize the significance and potential it has to help transform our world. We are starting to recognize that non-physical properties govern the universe, and we are turning our attention towards consciousness and the role it plays with regards to the physical make up of our reality.

The notion that the atom was the smallest particle in the universe fell with the discovery that the atom itself is made up of even smaller, subatomic elements. What was even more shocking was the revelation that these subatomic particles emit various “strange energies.”(0) Proponents would argue that the findings within quantum physics only apply and are significant at the subatomic level, but to those I say, are we not all existing at the subatomic level? When we observe ourselves and our physical environment at the smallest level, are we not made up of atoms? Are we not made up of subatomic particles? Are we not what we observe?

At the turn of the ninetieth century, physicists started to explore the relationship between energy and the structure of matter. In doing so, the belief that a physical, Newtonian material universe that was at the very heart of scientific knowing was dropped, and the realization that matter is nothing but an illusion replaced it. Scientists began to recognize that everything in the Universe is made out of energy.

Quantum physicists discovered that physical atoms are made up of vortices of energy that are constantly spinning and vibrating, each one radiating its own unique energy signature. Therefore, if we really want to observe ourselves and find out what we are, we are really beings of energy and vibration, radiating our own unique energy signature -this is fact and is what quantum physics has shown us time and time again. We are much more than what we perceive ourselves to be, and it’s time we begin to see ourselves in that light. If you observed the composition of an atom with a microscope, you would see a small, invisible tornado like vortex, with a number of infinitely small energy vortices called quarks and photons. These are what make up the structure of the atom. As you focused in closer and closer on the structure of the atom, you would see nothing, you would observe a physical void.(0) The atom has no physical structure, we have no physical structure, physical things really don’t have any physical structure! Atoms are made out of invisible energy, not tangible matter.

It’s quite the conundrum, isn’t it? Our experience tells us that our reality is made up of physical material things, and that our world is an independently existing objective one. Again, what quantum mechanics reveals is that there is no true “physicality” in the universe, that atoms are made of focused vorticies of energy-miniature tornadoes that are constantly popping into and out of existence.  The revelation that the universe is not an assembly of physical parts, suggested by Newtonian physics, and instead comes from a holistic entanglement of immaterial energy waves stems from the work of Albert Einstein, Max Planck, and Werner Heisenberg, among others. (0)

Despite the findings of quantum physics many scientists today still cling onto the prevailing matter-oriented worldview, for no good reason at all. As mentioned earlier, these scientists restrict quantum theory’s validity to the subatomic world. If we know that matter isn’t physical, how can we further our scientific discovery by treating it as physical?

"Despite the unrivaled empirical success of quantum theory, the very suggestion that it may be literally true as a description of nature is still greeted with cynicism, incomprehension and even anger."
(T. Folger, “Quantum Shmantum”; Discover 22:37-43, 2001)

What Does This Mean?

What does it mean that our physical material reality isn’t really physical at all? It could mean a number of things, and concepts such as this cannot be explored if scientists remain within the boundaries of the only perceived world existing, the world we see. Fortunately, many scientists have already taken the leap, and have already questioned the meaning and implications of what we’ve discovered with quantum physics. One of these potential revelations is that “the observer creates the reality.”

"A fundamental conclusion of the new physics also acknowledges that the observer creates the reality. As observers, we are personally involved with the creation of our own reality. Physicists are being forced to admit that the universe is a “mental” construction. Pioneering physicist Sir James Jeans wrote: “The stream of knowledge is heading toward a non-mechanical reality; the universe begins to look more like a great thought than like a great machine. Mind no longer appears to be an accidental intruder into the realm of matter, we ought rather hail it as the creator and governor of the realm of matter.
(R. C. Henry, “The Mental Universe”; Nature 436:29, 2005) (14)

We can no longer ignore the fact that our beliefs, perceptions and attitudes (consciousness) create the world.

Get over it, and accept the inarguable conclusion. The universe is immaterial-mental and spiritual
(14)

One great example that illustrates the role of consciousness within the physical material world (which we know not to be so physical) is the double slit experiment. This experiment has been used multiple times to explore the role of consciousness in shaping the nature of physical reality. (2)

A double-slit optical system was used to test the possible role of consciousness in the collapse of the quantum wave-function.(2)

The ratio of the interference pattern’s double-slit spectral power to its single-slit spectral power was predicted to decrease when attention was focused toward the double-slit as compared to away from it.(2)

The study found that factors associated with consciousness, such as meditation, experience, electrocortical markers of focused attention and psychological factors such as openness and absorption, significantly correlated in predicted ways with perturbations in the double-slit interference pattern.(2)

Below is a video that demonstrates the double slit experiment from the film “What the bleep do we know.”

The problem presented in this experiment is called the quantum measurement problem (QMP). It refers to (as seen in the video) the intriguing effect whereby quantum objects appear to behave differently when observed than when unobserved.(2) Scientists only view it as a problem because it disregards what our senses tell us, that the world is completely independent of observation. This problem has led to the study of the role of observation and measurement -which many believe to be one aspect of consciousness due to our mind-like capacity of awareness, attention and intention.

"Observation not only disturb what has to be measured, they produce it. We compel the electron to assume a definite position. We ourselves produce the results of the measurement." (2)

These types of experiments are not the only ones available that show consciousness does play a role, and is interconnected with our physical material reality in some way. The possible influence of human consciousness on the behavior of physical or biological systems has been subject to rigorous research and documentation for a number of years by several researches. Many of the experiments that use the role of human consciousness and how it affects our physical material world have been done so under the Department of Defense and military agencies, thus remaining classified -hidden science kept from the eyes of the mainstream public world. (3)

One example of this is the 24-year government-sponsored program to investigate ESP and its potential use within the Intelligence Community. This operation was called STAR GATE , and most of its research and findings remain classified to this day. (4) Another example is the research conducted by the CIA and NSA in conjunction with Stanford University. (5)(6)(7).

Personally, I am compelled to believe that much of the science that deals with the “weirdness” of the quantum world, and many of its technological applications remains within the realm of the classified world. A world so secretive that it could be thousands, if not millions of years ahead of the mainstream world.

What Level Of Consciousness Do You Operate From?

Now that we’ve established that our physical makeup is one that is not physical at all, where do we go from here? We are atoms, made up of subatomic particles, that are actually a bunch of energy vibrating at a certain frequency. Us, these vibrational beings of energy exhibit consciousness, which has been shown to manifest, create and correlate to our physical material world. The next question to ask ourselves is: what level of consciousness/ state of being do we individually, and more importantly, collectively operate from?

Studies have shown that positive emotions and operating from a place of peace within oneself can lead to a very different experience for the person emitting those emotions and for those around them. At our subatomic level, does the vibrational frequency change the manifestation of physical reality? If so, in what way? We know that when an atom changes it’s state, it absorbs or emits electromagnetic frequencies, which are responsible for changing it’s state. (15) Do different states of emotion, perception and feelings result in different electromagnetic frequencies? Yes! This has been proven. (8)

Below is a video that uses the example of the heart, and sheds some light on some facts you may not have known.

The non-physical world is weird, isn’t it? The fact that material substances (matter) appear out of thin air, with lots of evidence to point to consciousness as that which is creating it, is pretty intriguing. One minute we are holding a physical object in our hand, like a coin, and then the next minute we realize that if we were to focus in on the coins material substance with an atomic microscope, we would see that we are actually holding nothing.

The best we can do for now is understand that the human race must operate from a place of peace, a place of co-operation and understanding. We must realize that we are all interconnected, that we can solve our problems here easily, given the fact that we have a number of solutions. The only way we will be able to implement and utilize these solutions is through a shift in consciousness. The world is indeed waking up. My soul knows the significance of these findings, it is difficult for the mind to explain. Hopefully I did a decent job.

Google Buys Boston Dynamics And Robotics

Boston Dynamics builds advanced robots with remarkable behavior: mobility, agility, dexterity and speed. We use sensor-based controls and computation to unlock the capabilities of complex mechanisms. Our world-class development teams take projects from initial concept to proof-of-principle prototyping to build-test-build engineering, to field testing and low-rate production.

Organizations worldwide, from DARPA, the US Army, Navy and Marine Corps to Sony Corporation turn to Boston Dynamics for advice and for help creating the most advanced robots on Earth.

So what will they be used for? There has been no declared official use for these robots.

Although, I would like to think they could be used for good there is no question about it in my mind these robots will be used for martial law if and when it is declared.

Other robots created by Boston Dynamics are ones that can fly in formation, swim like fish and slither around on the ground like snakes. Think if these were used to kettle and gather up humans there would be no reasoning with a program. The human equation in “just following orders” has now been replaced with a robot that is just following its program. Void of any sense of humanity and compassion words and tears will mean nothing to the machine.

Here are videos of Boston Dynamics robots' PetMan, LS3, Atlas, and Cheetah.

Google has recently just purchased Boston Dynamics and there robotics. Google’s robots efforts will be led by Andy Rubin, who was formerly in-charge of Android. It is clear that Google is seriously — and rather suddenly — interested in robots. What isn’t clear, though, is why? Is Google planning some kind of synergistic and masterful play to integrate its AI and machine learning software algorithms with humanoid helper robots? Is this the start of a story that ultimately leads to the technological singularity and Judgment Day?

I am amazed by these robots and this technology no doubt. It's an astounding work of art and it signifies we as creators are evolving. Yet, in my mind I can't help to think we've all seen this coming. It's finally here and it's just the beginning.

Americans Killed By Police Officers Now Outnumber Americans Killed In Iraq War

Police brutality is a major issue in the U.S this past decade. It's quite upsetting as the main slogan that is supposed to represent the police is "Protect and Serve." It's actually a little frightening because a majority of the cops abusing there power barely and rarely get punished for there actions.  Although not all cops are going beyond their limits, the police force in America is getting worse and worse each day. In the last decade alone 5,000 civilians have been murdered by cops! The number of soldiers killed in Iraq is less than that with a total count of 4,489.

If we look at the most recent numbers of non-military US citizens killed by terrorism worldwide, that number is 17. You have a better chance of being killed by a bee sting, or a home repair accident than you do a terrorist. And you are 29 times more likely to be murdered by a cop than a terrorist!

500 Americans each year are being killed by police enforcement and it needs to STOP! If we all come together and make a stand we can fight this. We deserve our freedom and shouldn't be worrying about out of control cops who think they are above the law.

Here is a short film on police brutality called RELEASE US.

I would really enjoy to hear your opinion on police brutality. Please leave a comment and share. It's time that we fight back!

Researchers Discover Alien Planet 11 Times Bigger Than Jupiter

An artist's conception of a young planet in a distant orbit around its host star. The star still harbors a debris disk, remnant material from star and planet formation, interior to the planet's orbit.

An enormous alien planet, one that is 11 times more massive than Jupiter, was discovered in the most distant orbit yet found around a single parent star. The newfound exoplanet, dubbed HD 106906 b, dwarfs any planetary body in the solar system, and circles its star at a distance that is 650 times the average distance between the Earth and the sun. The existence of such a massive and distantly orbiting planet raises new questions about how these bizarre worlds are formed, the researchers said."This system is especially fascinating because no model of either planet or star formation fully explains what we see," study lead researcher Vanessa Bailey, a fifth-year graduate student in the University of Arizona's department of astronomy, said in a statement.

This is a discovery image of planet HD 106906 b in thermal infrared light. The planet is more than 20 times farther away from its star than Neptune is from the sun.

The Most Surprising fact about this Planet in my opinion is it is only 13 million years old and is still growing exponentially.

Here are two fascinating videos on HD 106906 b

The Sun's Field Will 'Flip Upside Down' In A Matter Of Weeks, Says NASA

The sun’s magnetic field will reverse polarity within the next few weeks,  which will send ripples to the edge of interstellar space.

Within the coming weeks the Sun will 'flip upside down' as it's magnetic field will reverse in polarity. This will than cause an even where ripple effects will be sent throughout the solar system, close to interstellar space.

It sounds scary in a sense but truthfully this event occurs every 11 years and there is nothing to worry about. The sun's switches it's polarity, flipping it's magnetic north and south poles through an internal mechanism for which we only know little information about.

The change in the polarity could however cause possible intergalactic weather fronts such as geomagnetic storms. Geomagnetic storms could cause interference with satellites in space, which than could cause a radio blackout. Now that to me sounds like a bit of a problem but I'm sure it's nothing we can't handle. Although, scientists won't know whether the process in complete for at least a few more weeks, the affect of the sun's flip will be far reaching and noticeable. The magnetic field of our Sun exerts influence well past Pluto, beyond Nasa's Voyager Probes located near interstellar space. Todd Hoeksema, director of the Wilcox Solar Observatory, at Stanford University in California, said "the polarity change is built up throughout the eleven year cycle through areas of intense magnetic activity known as sunspots. Which gradually move towards the poles, eroding the existing opposite polarity. Eventually, the magnetic field reduces to zero, before rebounding with the opposite polarity."

Polarity Switch In The Sun's Magnetic Field Causes Profound Shifts In Human Consciousness

Written By: Michael Forrester, Guest

We are currently in the middle of a peak or solar maximum which has brought us more solar flares, CMEs, and geomagnetic storms. Historically, research has been conducted to link the 11 year cycle of the sun to changes in human behavior and society. A big event is about to happen on the sun which may assist in this process–the sun’s vast magnetic field is about to flip in just a few months. The sun is a major source of visible light and energy on this planet. It represents all-pervading consciousness which animates all things providing us with what some believe to be unlimited energy. According to measurements from NASA-supported observatories, the sun’s vast magnetic field is about to flip. What are the cosmic and personal implications of this? It is not such a unique phenomenon, as it happens every eleven years. Still, every eleven years, shifts in human consciousness around this period seem to occur like clock work.It happens at the peak of each solar cycle as the sun’s inner magnetic dynamo re-organizes itself. The coming reversal will mark the midpoint of Solar Cycle 24. Half of ‘Solar Max’ will be behind us, with half yet to come.

The recent Solar Maximum gives us a wonderful opportunity to observe the Sun in action. Borderland Sciences has been investigating the relationship of the Sun and human behaviour for many years, and we are quite confident that we can predict behaviours based on sunspot fluctuations over very short and long durations within the Solar Cycle of 11 years. Historically, research has been conducted to link the 11 year cycle of the sun to changes in human behavior and society. The most famous research had been done by professor A.L. Tchijevsky, a Russian scientist, who presented a paper to the American Meteorological Society at Philadelphia in the late 19th century. He prepared a study of the history of mass human movement compared to the solar cycle, beginning with the division of the Solar cycle into four parts:
1) Minimum sunspot activity; 2) increasing sunspot activity; 3) maximum sunspot activity; 4) Decreasing sunspot activity.

He then divided up the agitation of mass human movements into five phases:
1. Provoking influence of leaders upon masses
2. The “exciting” effect of emphasized ideas upon the masses
3. The velocity of incitability due to the presence of a single psychic center
4. The extensive areas covered by mass movements
5. Integration and individualization of the masses

Further Information can be found through Physical Factors Of The Historical Process by clicking the PDF link below. This is the actual paper written by Professor Aleksandr Leonidovich Tchijevsky himself.

Survival Tip: How To Make A Battery Out Of a Lemon

A quick simple way to produce an electrical current is by making a Homemade lemon battery and it only takes minutes of your time. Producing electricity is extremely beneficial, especially in times of need. All that is required is a lemon, a galvanized nail, a penny, and some copper wire. This is enough to make one battery that can produce .35 Volts of electricity. Now if you connect multiple lemon batteries together you can create a battery with more voltage. For instance 6 lemon batteries strung together can produce up to 3 Volts of electricity. Here is a video explaining step by step how to create a lemon battery and produce electricity. Enjoy.

Making a battery can be easy if you know what you are doing. Here's a quick handy tip of the day and it might get you out of a tight spot one day. This can be used to charge electrical devices if done correctly. Many of you may also know about the famous potato experiment and the light bulb. This is very similar and can be done on a number of fruits and foods. No lemons were harmed in the making of this video. ;)

How To Make A HomeMade Battery

In this day and age electricity is something we can't find ourselves without. A beneficial skill to learn is how to make a homemade battery. This can help you in times of power outages, and can be extremely handy in times of survival. Now before we get started the supplies you will need are:

An Ice Tray
13 Metal Screws
1 Sheet Metal Screw
Copper Wire
Water

Take the copper wire and cut 14 strands to about 4-6 inches long. Now wrap the strands around the top of each screw about 2-3 times. After each nail has a copper wire strand wrapped around it, bend the copper wire into a hook formation. Now put one screw with the copper wire around it in each hole of the ice tray, with the hook of the wire resting on the wall separating the holes. In the 2 end holes (doesn't matter which end) place a strand of copper wire in one so it hangs over the edge. In the other place the sheet metal screw with copper wire wrapped around it just like the others. So far you should now have 13 metal screws placed in each hole of the ice tray with copper wrapped around them. One sheet metal screw in one hole at the end, and a strand of copper wire hanging over the edge in the hole next to the sheet metal screw. Now you should have the 14 cells hooked in series up one side and down the other. The copper wire at the end is acting as the positive terminal, while the Sheet metal acts as the negative terminal. Now place water in each hole of the ice tray about half full. The battery is complete and should now be putting off about 9 volts of electricity.

Here is a video for a visual representation on how to make this battery. Enjoy.

Jail Officer Beats Inmate To Death

North Carolina Wake County detention officer Markeith Council is being charged with voluntary manslaughter after beating an inmate to death.  The victim, Shon Demetrius McClain had been in custody just over two weeks due to the misdemeanor charges: possession of drug paraphernalia and drinking alcohol in public.  McClain was 40-years-old and a weighed only 119 lbs. Here is the actual video of the incident.

McClain was reportedly complaining to the officer about a previous incident of nearly crushing his hand in a cell door.

Council testified that McClain had struck him in the face, even though the footage clearly states Council acting first by shoving the inmate McClain. Than punching him and proceed to slam McClain onto the ground like a rag doll.

During his cross-examination Wednesday, Wake County District Attorney Colon Willoughby focused on the physical differences between the men.  Willoughby asked Council whether he considered subduing McClain by sitting on him, rather than slamming him to the ground.

“Why did you throw him down the second time?” the prosecutor asked. “You know that at that point, throwing him down was going to hurt him.”

Council replied: “I didn’t think to hurt him. I was thinking about getting him off of me.”
